Privacy policy
Andorran Law 15/2003 of 18 December on the protection of personal information states that all information provided by users is to be treated with the utmost confidentiality. Those responsible for handling this information, as well as those involved in any phase of this handling, under the authorisation granted by the user, expressly agree to adopt the degree of protection necessary and the technical and organisational measures required to guarantee the protection of the personal information and to prevent its alteration, improper use, loss, or unauthorised handling or access.

Specific Decree dated 5 June 1996 published in the BOPA (Official Principality of Andorra Gazette) no. 40, year 8, of 12 June 1996, specifically in Section Five which appears below:

“The information collected through household budget surveys and through surveys conducted near the establishments will be used solely to determine the retail price index and shall only be published in numerical form without individual references.

The individual information that appears on the household budget questionnaires shall not be used for any other purpose than the one specified in the previous section.

The Government shall adopt all measures necessary to guarantee confidentiality; specifically, the Ministry which acts as the deposit shall not pass this information to any other public or private entity nor shall the information be merged or related in any way to computerised files."
